The major currency pair is being sold again after Mario Draghi’s speech and the statistics from Germany.
Investors are selling EURUSD a little bit on Tuesday afternoon. The current quote for the instrument is 1.1318.
Yesterday, Germany reported on the Ifo Business Climate, which decreased up to 102.0 points in November after being 102.9 points the month before and against the expected reading of 102.3 points.
A bit later, the ECB President Mario Draghi spoke and mentioned that the latest Euro Area statistics were worse than expected. Investors responded immediately and started selling the Euro. After that, Draghi explained that it was temporary, but it was no help to the major currency pair.
There will be some interesting numbers from the USA in the evening, such as the CB Consumer Confidence in November, which is expected to fall up to 136.2 points after being 137.9 points in the previous month. The weaker the number, the worse for the USD.
However, investors might save their strengths for tomorrow, when the USA are scheduled to published the second revision of the GPD in the third quarter.
